About Solid Core Tabletops
Solid core, cross-laminated HempWood® tabletops finished in Bona® matte, built for daily use.
Each tabletop is crafted from three layers of raw pressed HempWood®, forming a solid, full-density core built for strength and long-term stability. The layers are cross-laminated with alternating grain direction, a construction method that enhances durability, minimizes movement, and helps the top resist warping over time.
Once pressed, the surface is finished with a Bona® matte coat, delivering a smooth, refined appearance and dependable protection right out of the box. The result is a tabletop that offers the look, feel, and performance of high-end solid wood furniture without the harsh chemicals commonly found in traditional finishes.
HempWood® is a patented composite made from rapidly renewable hemp stalks bonded with a soy-based, no-added-formaldehyde adhesive. The result is a stable, hardwood-class surface that’s designed for real, daily use.
