The HempWood® 48 Inch Block is pressed from sustainably grown hemp stalks and a soy-based adhesive with no added formaldehyde. The result is a dense, durable hardwood alternative that showcases HempWood® in a solid block format, ideal for interior, non-structural applications.

Working and finishing
HempWood® is designed to be worked with standard woodworking tools.
- Sawing: use sharp carbide-tipped blades for clean cuts
- Sanding: sand to around 120 grit before applying finishes
- Staining: oil-based stains are optimal. Water-based products tend to raise the grain and may require additional sanding
