Each desktop is crafted from three layers of raw pressed HempWood®, forming a solid, full‑density core built for strength and long‑term stability. The layers are cross‑laminated with alternating grain direction, a construction method that enhances durability, minimizes movement, and helps the top resist warping over time.
Once pressed, the surface is finished with a Bona® matte coat, delivering a smooth, refined appearance and dependable protection right out of the box. The result is a desktop that offers the look, feel, and performance of high‑end solid wood furniture without the harsh chemicals commonly found in traditional finishes.
HempWood® is a patented composite made from rapidly renewable hemp stalks bonded with a soy‑based, no‑added‑formaldehyde adhesive. The result is a stable, hardwood‑class surface designed for real, daily use.
