Test HempWood® panels and lumber in your own shop before committing to a full order.

You get real, usable panel and lumber pieces so you can cut, glue, sand, route, finish, and see how the material behaves under your tools and workflow. It includes both grain patterns, rift and live, plus solid core panel samples, so you can evaluate machining, edge profiles, fastening, glue‑ups, and finishes all on the real material.

Brochure and business card
These core contents match the kit that makers most need to put HempWood through real shop tests, as listed on the product page.
Panel construction
The panel samples use HempWood® veneers laminated onto FSC‑certified PureBond® plywood. This is the same construction used for HempWood panels in furniture, accent walls, cabinetry, and ceiling coverings, so you can test routing, edge‑banding, fastening, and finishing on a representative build.
Grain patterns
HempWood® products come in two grain patterns. The kit includes both so you can decide which look fits your work:
- Rift sawn – a more traditional, linear grain that reads like classic wood
- Live sawn – a more irregular, dramatic pattern with strong visual movement
Shipping and sample credit
- Shipping included to the continental United States. Select free shipping when only sample packs are in the cart.
- Sample value credited to your first order over $500.
These benefits are built into the offer for the Craftsman kit.
- Listed weight: 5 lb (2.3kg)
- Shipping dimensions: 12 × 10 × 2 inches (31 x 26 x 5 cm)
