Agribusiness of the Year
This past month, Dr. Tony Brannon, Dean of the Hutson School of Agriculture, presented HempWood Founder Greg Wilson with the Agribusiness of the Year award.
“It takes a village to build an industry. My wife and I love Murray State University and Murray, and it just feels like home. This award is our Stanley Cup and is the best news we have had all year,” Wilson said.
HempWood is a local company that manufactures hardwood products from fiber hemp sourced from local farmers. With over two dozen employees and four years of establishment, HempWood continues to work closely with the local agriculture community and provide a sustainable alternative to hardwood.

For the first time, HempWood will be participating in MjBizCon, which is the #1 global cannabis business conference and tradeshow. HempWood Founder, Greg Wilson will be attending the event in Las Vegas, Nevada the week of November 15th. Let us know if you plan to attend the show.
